Through in-person and online gatherings, I hold space for wisdom to emerge through the collective.
Having lived in spiritual community for twenty years, I am highly tuned to the potential and the pitfalls within group dynamics. Thus, I take great care to create powerful collective experiences that are intimate and safe.
In group work, we honour the sacred feminine as Life’s generative and constantly evolving matrix. Gathering with open hearts and respect for our bodies’ wisdom, we open to a wealth of information for how to nurture ourselves and the Earth.
Women’s circles provide a safe and sacred setting to come home to our Self. Finding our way Home is critical to maintaining sanctuary in our world. With a specific theme for each circle, we nourish our body-souls through meditation, spontaneous movement, authentic sounding and deep listening. Through conversation, ritual and expressive creativity, we generate a collective field of energy that is more potently dynamic than is possible to achieve by oneself. Meanwhile, the sensation of coming home to our Self is an empowering touchstone for connecting with Source in our everyday lives.
Women’s Circles in Nobleton
I host monthly Women’s Circles at Stacey Hollings’ beautiful yoga studio in Nobleton, Ontario from January to April, and September to November. With a Chartres Labyrinth on the floor and an array of crystal bowls for sound-baths, our time together is a deep dive into the sacred feminine. In these circles, our intention is to commune with Nature and Source by accessing the wisdom of our animal bodies.
Building on our ability to come home to our Self, Women’s Councils explore our shared sense of responsibility for the Earth and what is being called forth within us in these times. Aligning with Source, we weave our diverse world-views into a complex tapestry of vision and co-creative action. Addressing questions that affect us personally, we also listen beyond ourselves for a broader perspective, recognizing our personal lives are intimately part of the emergent process occurring within the Earth.
Earth Restoration Councils at Owl’s Nest
Earth Restoration Councils focus on developing the deep-listening skills essential to communing with Nature. Our intention is to enliven the creative space between human consciousness and the natural world. Reciprocity is central to this work: as we open to receive the earth’s living language, we are nourished; when we give attentive compassion to any element in the natural world, a bridge between our human consciousness and the spirit of the land is created and through our exchanges, the entire web of creation is strengthened.
Over the four gatherings, we will employ the seven steps to ‘Opening Gaia’s Light Mysteries’. As well as meditation, movement and ritual, Council gatherings will include generous time outdoors—in the woodland ravines, on the Ganaraska River trails and at Lake Ontario (all minutes from Owl’s Nest, in Port Hope, Ontario.) Dates for 2019 Gatherings: May 25, June 22, July 20, August 24th.
Women’s Circles and Councils are sometimes offered in a webinar format, increasing global accessibility and broadening the spectrum of voices. When I first felt called to explore online technology, it seemed the antithesis of the intimacy essential for this work. I soon discovered that, with focused intention and open-hearted presence, communion through this medium can be powerfully transformative.
Communing With My Garden
In a series of 5 lightly-facilitated webinars through May/June, we will share suggestions, tips and experiences to inspire each other in a deepening relationship with our gardens. Playful, intuitive and affirming, this interactive time will give you confidence to create an oasis of beauty and vitality that nourishes you, your community, and the heart of Nature.
